This performance
simulates a murder mystery.
There are five performers:
authority (Martina Pachmanova)
wearing long red gloves leans over a balcony to speculate on the details
of the crime,
photographer (Sue Ellen Gerritsen)
wearing a baseball uniform has stopped in to lend a hand,
simulation (Sneppova), a
media junkie who has speakers mounted to her breasts and is constantly
stealing evidence so she may live the crime she wishes she had committed,
memory (Truchan), who uses various
devices such as the monitor which is mounted to her head in an attempt
to remember the crime she may have committed, and the implied murderess.

Each character
has a set of actions they carry out, responding but not interacting with
each other, sometimes one is followed while another character is being
documented. Their actions interacting with the sound they generate including
the speakers attached to the body of the character simulation,
pre recorded sound and the video image projected in the room which gives
most of the clues while a carnival sound echoes in the background.
A work revolving around issues of representation with both historical
and contemporary elements, issues of identity, violence and theories
of memory.
